Some days do not have an itinerary. A day of appointments across town, a shopping trip, showing visitors around, or an evening where the plan is deliberately loose. Booking each leg separately as it comes up is slow and usually more expensive.
As-directed hire keeps the vehicle and chauffeur with you for a block of hours. You decide the stops as you go and the car waits between them. There is no per-journey re-booking and no explaining the plan again each time.
How long to book
Book the hours you think you need and extend on the day if the plan grows, which is usually possible if the vehicle has not been committed elsewhere afterwards. Extensions are quoted before they start. Booking short and extending is generally cheaper than booking long and releasing early.
