The stretch limousine has not been the default airport car for a long time, but for the occasions it suits, nothing else quite substitutes. Proms, milestone birthdays and weddings still call for it, and usually the point is that it is unmistakable from the street.
Stretches are hired per vehicle for a block of hours rather than per person or per mile, so the cost does not change with how the group splits it.
Choosing between a stretch and a bus
A stretch seats its passengers along the sides and is built for arriving somewhere. A party bus is built for the journey itself and takes larger groups more comfortably. If your night is mostly one grand arrival, take the stretch. If it is four venues across an evening with a large group, the bus will serve you better.
